LA FOTO DEL DÍA: hace 8 años River Plate descendía a la B Nacional
River Plate's forward Mariano Pavone (L) reacts after missing a penalty kick during the Argentina's Promotion football match against Belgrano, at Monumental stadium in Buenos Aires, on June 26, 2011. Argentine giants River Plate has to win by two a two-gaol difference in order to stay in first division after it was beaten 2-0 by Belgrano in the first leg of their play-off earlier on the week. If the teams are level on aggregate at the final whistle, River Plate will stay up due to their current top-flight status.
